Our primary mission field is our local community of Coolbellup and surrounding areas
(our “Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria” according to Acts 1:8).

We currently undertake the following ministries in this field:

Cooby Eats
Bringing Community Together

Cooby Eats is a free event run four times a year  that welcomes everyone to share a meal and get to know their neighbours. It aims to connect people and build community spirit at a time when many feel isolated and alone. We serve with no strings attached and firmly believe that the meal table is a great place to share life and faith. It also gives us the opportunity to partner with the City of Cockburn and other local community groups.

The Alpha Course
Ask Anything. Try Alpha.

The Alpha Course explores life, faith, and meaning.  No question is too big or too small to explore. No matter what background, faith, or walk of life, we ALL have questions, and we all deserve a safe space to ask them. Alpha is that safe place. Please check our Calendar for the next course.

Cooby Carols

Cooby Carols is an annual event held at Hargreaves Park in Coolbellup. We sing traditional Christmas Carols, put on a yummy free Sausage Sizzle and kids art and Crafts, to bring the community together and celebrate the reason for the season.

We also seek to “go into the nations” through our support for the following work:

Baptist Mission Australia

We support the Black family as missionaries in Wiang Chai, in the Chiang Rai region of Thailand on behalf of Baptist Mission Australia.

Baptist Mission Australia

We also support the Beeck family as missionaries in Mozambique on behalf of Baptist Mission Australia

Compassion

We partner with Compassion, a non-denominational Christian organisation that partners with overseas churches in 25 countries to see families, communities and even nations transformed for Christ—one child at a time.

Moerk Water

We partner with Moerk Water who provide clean and safe drinking and irrigation water to the farming communities in Papua New Guinea.
